This piece invites the viewer to experience a serene and textural interpretation of landscape, crafted with a unique mixed media approach. This piece measures 11" x 14" within its white matting, and presented in a clean 16" x 20" white frame.

Long strips of paper, individually painted with gouache in a comforting palette of peach, shades of yellow ochre, mauve, copper, clay pink, and sand, are meticulously hand-torn and then artfully hand-sewn back together using a variety of embroidery stitches. This distinctive process creates a rich, tactile surface that offers depth and visual interest, drawing the viewer to discover the subtle nuances of the composition.
